After one of the most exciting weeks in FlickPicks history, things start to cool down with only one new wide release this week.
Iron Man 2 is the flick and though it might not make for the most exciting weekend at FP, this is sure to be a huge weekend for moviegoers. The original Iron Man was one of the biggest surprises of 2008, launching a little-known superhero into a $318 million phenomenon. Expectations are high for the sequel and though reviews have been luke-warm so far, the movie is sure to decimate the box office. Many analysts are already claiming it could top The Dark Knight’s current record for the biggest opening of all time but whether this will actually happen is open for debate. Opening in 4,000 screens, prepare yourself for the movie everyone will be talking about for months to come!
